Chittoor Police Department is Pioneer in introducing and executing innovative policing Strategies to Strengthen bonds between Police and Public.In this Process on 24-10-2017 Sri S.V.Rajasekhara Babu, IPS, SP, Chittoor launched an innovative program of 1200 km cycle tour by 4 women PCs to thwart suicidal attempts and to create awareness on all issues related to women folk. For the said purpose the women PCs extensively toured all over the district for a period of 44 days covering 56 mandals interacted thousands of students and women folk motivated them not to commit suicides on trivial issues. The 44 days long tour ended in Chittoor town on 07-12-2017 amidst of applaud of all sects of society.
